Mental Health Trainings

CFGC offers a wide varMindfulness Seminariety of mental health trainings throughout the year for staff and local Texoma providers. In addition to furthering
professional and competency development, these trainings enable clinicians to earn continuing education credit which meet or exceed regulatory licensure standards.

We strive to be a local source for Texoma mental healthcare providers who want to improve their abilities to deliver social services. Our behavioral health services and mental health services programs include offsite seminars where we partner with outstanding presenters from the Texoma area as well as the Dallas metroplex. For the smaller seminars, CFGC staff provide education and training on Trauma Informed Care as well as other topics to local organizations and groups. For the larger, offsite seminars are held at Austin College and CFGC partners with TMC Behavioral Health Center and WNJ Behavioral Health Services to sponsor the training programs so that seminars are free of charge to providers.
